Machining & Lathe Works
Precision lathe works, custom shaft manufacturing, shaft repair, gear manufacturing and machining of custom mechanical components and machine parts.
When an industrial part is worn, broken or no longer available, machining is usually the shortest route back to production. NEXORA operates a machine shop producing custom shafts, gears, bushes, sleeves, pulleys and mechanical components from raw material, from a drawing, or from the worn part itself.
Shaft Manufacturing and Repair
Shafts are manufactured to drawing or copied from a sample, with keyways, threads, shoulders, tapers and bearing seats machined to the required tolerances. Worn shafts are repaired by building up and re-machining bearing and seal areas, or by sleeving, where full replacement is not justified.
Gear Manufacturing and Repair
Gears and sprockets are manufactured and repaired, including replacement of damaged teeth sections, re-bushing, keyway repair and bore re-machining to suit a replacement shaft.
General Machining
General work covers turning, facing, boring, drilling, threading, keyway cutting and the manufacture of bushes, spacers, flanges, adaptors and custom mechanical components.
